About the Class of 1964 Cornell Tradition Fellowship
Each year, the University selects 150
freshmen as Cornell Tradition Fellows. The
Cornell Tradition supports
lifestyles that integrate a strong work ethic, public service, and
academic achievement by rewarding students who exemplify these
characteristics with recognition and financial assistance for their
education.
This alumni-endowed
program recognizes and rewards outstanding undergraduates.
Our class created the Class of 1964 Tradition Fellowship in 1989, at our
25th Reunion. |

2004-05 Fellow
Jacqueline Lewis A&LS '08
Jackie Lewis was raised on a small farm i n
northern Connecticut. Her city-born parents raised sheep, and that spurred
her interest in studying Animal Science at Cornell. Since arriving at
Cornell, her focus has shifted from Pre-Vet to Pre-Med.
Outside of class, Jackie sails on Cayuga
Lake and plays hockey. She also works in the 4-H department at the
Tompkins County Extension Office.
Jackie has had her sights on Cornell since
she was age nine. Her family would not have been able to afford a Cornell
education without the scholarships she has received.
